Jessie is the lead planner and founder of According to Plan. She found her passion for wedding planning in 2015 after planning her own rustic celebration and ultimately turned her love of weddings and her management talent into a full service business in 2017!
Since then Jessie has had the pleasure of creating all kinds of celebrations, from black tie to informal destination beach weddings and receptions. If you have a dream event, her eye for detail and passion for giving life to a party will fan any spark into a flame! Jessie and Tiffany worked magic at my wedding in January! It was cold, SUPER windy and a little crazy and I had the best night ever!!! I am a super type A bride (and person, let's be honest) so having someone that could gently let me know I didn't have to do everything myself was a life saver. I am a straight forward gal and do not sugar coat anything. Jesse was the cream of the crop. If you only knew our back story you would understand. You don’t need 10+ years experience, or charge a fortune to be the best. All you need is passion for what you do and that’s Jesse. (Dropped the mic).

My husband didn’t want me to stress on our wedding day. I only wanted someone to take over the day of (or that week.) I interviewed about a dozen DOCs and found my dream team! According to Plan- Jessie and Dani were amazing! The day went so smoothly that I cannot imagine it any other way! They helped flip the space, helped bus tables, cut the cake, socialized with my guests, kept my timeline going, and also did exactly as my hubby asked and didn’t bother me with anything that day...lol! Thank y’all for being so awesome!

According to Plan wedding coordination exceeded my expectations! We had an issue with our seating chart and guests sitting wherever they wanted and our coordinator handled everything and made sure I was stress-free and smiling. I would recommend According to Plan to all of my friends.

According to plan was amazing! They helped us create a timeline for the wedding and worked with our photographers and DJ to keep us on schedule and flowing. They were kind and professional and very responsive to questions. They coordinated all of the vendors the day of the wedding which was a HUGE help. I honestly don’t know what we would’ve done without them!

Jessie kept us right where we needed to be. It was like autopilot. What a fun person to have organize such a stressful event. Kept it stress free for the Mother and Farther of the bride.

My (now) husband sought Jessie's info to coordinate our wedding after working with her at a separate friend's wedding, and I am beyond thrilled that he did!! Jessie did a phenomenal job to say the least. From our first consult to the big day, she was a pleasure to work with. She's very responsive, attentive, detail-oriented, patient, and the utmost professional (even towards one of our unruly, drunken guests). We received many compliments on how smoothly everything went, and she was always nearby to assist. If there was a problem, she took care of it without me knowing, and we were able to enjoy our wedding without distractions. We hired her as a "same-day coordinator", and WOW, the depth of her planning to make our day perfect is remarkable. Would highly recommend!

As a photography vendor, it is essential we know when and where to be to capture the magical moments for the bride and groom. Jessie was great with giving us up to the minute changes in order to provide the best photos for our mutual clients! She was very professional and great to work with!

I don’t even know where to begin! Jessie and Ashley are absolutely amazing. I hired them as a day of coordinator. We met a couple of months before the wedding and again a month before at the venue so they could get an idea of my vision. A couple of weeks before the wedding I sent them my floor plan and they answered back to let me know that wasn’t what we originally talked about. In other words they were on top of their game! They even contacted all of my vendors to go over important details. My day finally arrived and Ashley coordinated. She was simply amazing. Even went so far to order pizza for the wedding party because we were starving. If anything went wrong that day I never knew about it! She kept us on schedule and checked on us often to make sure we didn’t need anything. If you can’t afford a wedding planner, you at least need a day of coordinator. I highly recommend them! Very reasonable and it was $ well spent!! Thank you ladies for making my day literally THE BEST DAY EVER!

Jesse was SUCH a treat to work with!! As a wedding photographer, it is so amazing to have a coordinator that is able to communicate and execute the day smoothly and professionally. The timeline she created was flawless, very well thought out and easy to follow. She was very good at letting us know ahead of time when things were about to happen and made sure we were ready and in place before it began. I will recommend her to all of my brides! Jessie was sooooo helpful even though we hired her as a day of coordinator she went above that. Dani was fantastic the day of despite the monsoon of a storm we were having outside lol and dealing with the change in plans for our ceremony. These ladies are definitely worth it and did such a great job of making sure everything flowed well and the bride and groom were taken care of! Originally we weren’t sure about needing a coordinator but I’m so glad we went with According to Plan for wedding planning. We knew right after meeting with Jessie that they’d be a perfect fit and understood our vision!

There is no possible way I would have been able to have the wedding I was dreaming of if I had not had Jessie as both my planner and my day-of coordinator! I had a big, semi-DIY wedding with 150 guests. Because I used her for planning, I was VERY well prepared going into the big day. She was always in constant contact with me providing very helpful, manageable ways to keep the wedding preparation process on track. She has a ton of industry knowledge and is very well plugged-in to the north Texas wedding vendor community. You hear a lot of horror stories about caterers not showing up, missing DJs, etc., but I wasn’t nervous at all going into my wedding day because I knew with 100% confidence that even if problems arose, I could depend on Jessie to handle any problems head-on. In fact, I wasn’t even aware of the handful of problems that (apparently) came up on my wedding day, because Jessie handled them all herself and didn’t want to bother me with the stress. If there is just one piece of advice I could give to other brides, it’s that hiring a day-of-coordinator is 110% worth it. It will be the absolute BEST investment you will make. What’s the point of having your dream wedding if you’re too distracted and stressed out with details/vendors/crises etc. to actually enjoy it? Jessie and her team are absolutely the best of the best. She made my day magical.
