Wedding day management begins around two months before the wedding to shore up final details, create floorplans and timelines, and communicate with vendors so the day runs smoothly.

Do we still need a planner if our venue has a coordinator?

Yes. Venue coordinators typically manage venue logistics, like making sure the property is clean and ready, confirming the floorplan provided to them, keeping bathrooms stocked, adjusting lighting as needed, coordinating venue-related cleanup, and locking up at the end of the night. They usually do not manage the wedding party, vendors, personal decor setup, or the full flow of the wedding day.

When should we book wedding planning or wedding day management?

Most couples begin booking vendors around a year before the wedding. Booking 12 months or more in advance gives you the best chance of securing your preferred vendors, including your planner, for your date.

When does wedding day management begin?

Wedding day management begins two months before the wedding. Once you book, we will also have an initial meeting to talk through your current wedding details, discuss next steps, and get you access to the client portal, which includes helpful planning tools until the package officially begins.

Do you communicate with our vendors before the wedding?

Absolutely. I start checking in with vendors a couple of months before the wedding to confirm details and timelines so everyone is on the same page and ready for your big day.

Do you help with setup, decor placement, and the ceremony and reception timeline?

Yes. Packages include personal decor setup and tear down. I am on site for up to 12 hours on the wedding day with an assistant to help run the timeline and manage the overall day.

What can affect the starting price of a package?

Starting prices include the core support listed for each package. A custom proposal may adjust based on travel outside the standard service area, added setup responsibilities, multiple locations, or wedding day coverage beyond the included 12 hours.
